Recent history
1997 - 2007
Keltec Dispensing Systems, founded in 1997, was initially a developer and producer
of plastic bottles and closures. Later on, Keltec started to design, develop and
produce mechanical dispensers for the personal and beauty care markets. The two
main product groups were Mechanical Foamers and Airless Dispensers where Keltec
had obtained worldwide patents on their own designs. Keltec grew into a 150 FTE
company and had manufacturing plants in the Netherlands, China and the United States.
Keltecs customers included large global brand owners such as P&G, L’Oréal,
Beiersdorf, Avon and Unilever. Keltec was successfully divested to MeadWestvaco
Calmar Inc in 2007.
2007 – 2010
Quint Kelders remained with Keltec’s new owner MeadWestvaco Calmar Inc as Global
Vice President of Sales and Marketing Airless & Foamer and General Manager of
multiple primary-packaging manufacturing plants within MWV.
2001 – 2008
The Kelders family acquired Heesen Continental together with Heesen Shipyards.
Heesen Continental developed, produced and sold high-speed aluminum semi-custom
motor yachts between 35 and 45 meters in length. The 3700 and 4400 series became
a huge success in the super-yacht industry. The concept was to sell high-quality
Dutch- built semi-custom yachts with short lead times. Heesen Continental grew
into a multi-million annual sales company, and in the complete group of Heesen
Continental and Heesen Shipyards, more than 450 FTE were employed. Heesen
Shipyards was sold to a financial investor in 2006 and the Kelders family divested
their shares before it was sold to its current owner.
2009 – current
Together with Resilux NV, the Kelders family via IPS founded the Air0-Lux AG to
manufacture and roll-out the revolutionary innovation Air0pack™. The first
fully-automated manufacturing plant is up and running in Bilten, Switzerland and
additional global operational facilities are planned for the near future.
